Euro winter is on!

Hello blog!


After a trip to Whistler and a long long period of waiting here in Europe for the snow to arrive - it finally did. A massive storm hit Europe last week and it snowed. It snowed a lot. Unfortunately we did not get as much as the Valais or the french alps but it is a good start. We all kind of forgot about how good deep snow actually feels after such a dry past season and the very sunny fall.


Here are the first shots from Scuol.

You can expect a lot of action here very soon. The ideas for the next episode come along. I think the next one will be a inside view of our home base and behind the scene.

Travelling.

I just booked a flight ticket last week and jumped on a plane to Whistler BC to shred some with Corsin who is based here for the winter. The day I arrived it rained almost to the top so yey, awesome!


It turns out to be the sickes ski resort I have ever been to and an experience I dont wanna miss. The terrain parks are epic, we are filming for episode 3 and enjoying skiing. There is not much powder but hey, having good times anyway! Here are some first impressions. Check back soon for more!

Corviglia/Corvatsch Opening

YO!


Corviglia and Corvatsch opened their doors for the new season 2011/12. We made it up on both hills and put together 2 short edits for the Engadin Mountains company. Check it and be ready for when winter actually starts!

It is very cool to see how good the hills are for the dry november we had! Good job guys!

Imagine Travel Magazin.

Olivia, Head of production & Art director of Imagine, a travel and lifestyle magazin contacted us the other day for a bunch of pictures to illustrate a freeride documentary in the next issue. It is a very cool thing for us to get the chance to show our work to a new/different audience.

waiting for snow.

Yo!


Long time no news - we know. As we all know there is a little lack of snow so far in and around the swiss alps. We are taking it easy, some new projects are coming together, some legs are getting fit for the winter and the new gear is rolling in. We got a few new GoPro HD2 cameras so we can't wait for the first few pow runs! 

Corsin is leaving for Whistler, Canada on friday, Nov. 18th. We will work this blog intercontinental for this season with lots of post from the euro winter and the canadian rockys. I will fly out in february sometime so you can be sure to see some videos from overseas. 

So far so good. We will keep you updated world!
