Flohs Gap!

The idea to build that gap Floh found a while back has been around for along time but we finally got on to it! Jacob Wester joined the four10-crew and after a full day of digging and shaping the gap was ready. 

Since Floh got a first hit we named the gap after him: #flohsgap

Here is a little teaser, the full footage will be shown in our movie coming fall 2013! Stay tuned!

Hello 2013!

Whatup blog!

Here is a little recab in pictures and words of what we have been up to! 

We officially started filming for the new movie that is gonna come out in fall 2013. It will not be spring this time so we know you all gonna be hungry for winter when we premier it in fall. Since the weather isn't really on our side so far there isn't too much filming but we keep fingers crossed for the storm to roll in! 

Floh got a starting spot at the FWQ 4* event at Corvatsch last week! The strong winds have made the face for the qualification runs super sketchy to ski and the north face was even closed due to the snow situation. We had fun anyway and hope to get some better conditions sometime soon for a few good lines! 

Snowpark Scuol has opened their big line. The two jumps are one of the better ones Scuol has seen in a long time so come by and check it out. 

Oskar Bakke was down here for a couple of days to ski with us. We drove out to ISPO and had a very nice day meeting some people and hanging at the Mydouchebag booth. Thanks to Truls and all you guys for the nice work!
We took Jons R8 down to Innsbruck after ISPO and well, we ended up at the side of the Autobahn due to some technical problems, nevertheless the car is insane!

Thats it for now, new plans are made so stay tuned for some action soon!

Season 2.

For the new season we have put some new ideas in and we wanna show a lot more of behind the scenes and little less of the full action so the best shot will be kept for the movie coming in spring.

Douchebag!

I am very pleased to announce a collaboration with Douchebags. A scandinavian founded brand by Jon Olsson and Truls Brataas providing the best travel equipment out there.

The idea for the collaboration with Douchebags came a couple of weeks ago when we found out that there was no swiss retailer yet and the product still is very new to the alps. So long story short we sat down and worked out some ideas with the result: four10skiing is Ambassador for Douchebags in the swiss alps.

Welcome back!

We are officially back and rolling on the blog here. The new season is here and so are some news and changes we'd like to announce here. Our website has changes its face a little bit, we hope you like it. 

- A new season 2 of episodes are in work and will be starting sometime mid november. The exact release date depending a little bit on conditions, filming and schedule.

- A new movie is planned and will be filmed and directed along the season. 

- Fabi founded  fourth visuals, a new media production with full service for cinematography. The new four10skiingTV and the season movie will be produced by fourth visuals.

- We would like to thank all our sponsors for the trust and the great work over the past time. We have not only been able to ski the best equipment out there but also have met so many wonderful people who are believing in us.

Here are some news and a little photo story of yesterdays event "The RockStarTeamBattle" 2012 in Scuol. 


We had a perfect day skiing together and ended up with a 3rd and a 1st place. I want to thank Mara Tannenberg for organizing such a fun and cool event and thanks to ya'all for making it good times!

RIP.

We just had to read the horrible news that Sarah Burke has passed away today after her crash earlier this month. She will always be remembered as the one of the strongest and most inovative woman freeskiers the world has seen. She died at the age of 29. May you find a lot of powder up there Sarah.

You will be missed.

We ski for Sarah.

As you might know by now, top athlete Sarah Burke has been seriously injured during a half pipe practice run in ParkCity. She has suffred from a brain bleeding and still is in a critical condition. We want to support her and send our prayers out to this wonderful person!

Euro winter is on!

Hello blog!


After a trip to Whistler and a long long period of waiting here in Europe for the snow to arrive - it finally did. A massive storm hit Europe last week and it snowed. It snowed a lot. Unfortunately we did not get as much as the Valais or the french alps but it is a good start. We all kind of forgot about how good deep snow actually feels after such a dry past season and the very sunny fall.
